The History

MANDRA was established on 20th April 2012 to commercialise its proprietary, interoperable and networked information management systems and integrated platform.

The founder of the Company, Will Wilson, is a fourth generation cattleman (he and his family currently own and operate the Calliope Cattle Company) with a passion for developing electronic, digital and mobility solutions for improving the current disparate, inefficient and paper-based  information management systems.

Initially the core of the platform was iHerd. This mobility based system enables producers to manage livestock in real time and to capture ‘vital’ data and information.

iHerd and MANDRA’s AGsuite platform are the result of a collaboration with iAPPS Pty Ltd, a Queensland, Australia based software company which specialises in commercial and industrial mobility, web and ICT solutions.
